The damper on our masonry fireplace became hard to open and close. During the service they lubricated the linkage, replaced the worn rope seal, adjusted the fit for tighter closure, cleaned the throat area, and polished the glass doors. The damper now moves smoothly and keeps heat inside much better on cold nights. It was a small repair but it made a big daily improvement for our family.
